St Lucia defeat St.Vincent 44 goals to 22

St. Lucia defeated St. Vincent by 44 goals to 22 in the second netball game played at the Keartons hard court on Sunday. Here are some photos from the game:

Mattafix Playaz and Calliaqua square the Series

The best of three series to determine the basketball champions in St. Vincent and the Grenadines is now squared at one game all with the final game slated for Sunday June 3rd.
Game two was played last Sunday, and following their win on Saturday in game one, Mattafiz were hoping to wrap things up in game two. But Calliaqua came out fighting from the start and led the scoring all the way through to achieve a well deserved 70 to 68 win  and square the series.

Layou defeats calliaqua in Semifinals 2 goals to 1

In the first semifinal game of the evening, Layou has ensured a place in the finals by defeating Calliaqua by 2 goals to 1. The goals were scored in the first ten minutes of the first half and in the first ten minutes of the second half.
These are some shhot taken during the first half. Layou is the team in red.

Team Athletics Throws Classic Shot Put

Team Athletics SVG last Saturday held a Throws Classic at the Arnos Vale 2 Playing Field in preparation for the upcoming 2012 regional and international Track and Field Meets.

Log Enterprises Kingstown Masters are the Masters Cricket Champions.

Kingstown Masters defeated C.K. Greaves Vintage Arnos Vale at the Grammar School Playing Field on January 15. Arnos Vale batted first and scored 118 for 9 after 20 overs. Set 119 to win, Kingstown responded with 121 for 7.

Mc Neal Morgan batting for Arnos Vale was dropped by wicketkeeper Joseph Carrington.

Morgan who went on to score 20, with two sixes and two fours before being bowled, was named MVP of the tournament

Joseph Carrington scored 42 for Kingstown Masters. and effected a brilliant runout and was named Player of the final
