New Zealand seal T20 series with a close win against West Indies Women

West Indies women threw away their chances of taking the T20 series by 2 to 1 when they failed to chase down a modest score of 111 posted by the touring side.
After 20 overs the scores were tied and it was left to a super over to decide the winner. West Indies scored 6 runs while losing 2 wickets and New Zealand easily got the runs with the help of a no ball and the resulting free hit.

Swim Clubs hold Trials

Over the past week and into the weekend the swim clubs Black Sand and Blue Marlin  have been holding trials to select a team to participate in up coming championships in St. Lucia.
Sunday afternoon saw trials in the breast stroke, butterfly, and freestyle.
