Antigua cyclists steal the show

Sunday's 70 mile race in the 2014 National Lotteries OECS Cycling Championships was claimed by the team from Antigua when they took the first three spots to completely rout the other six competing island teams.




At the Start SVG fielded 12 cyclists, Antigua fielded 5, St. Lucia and Grenada 3, Anguilla 2, and BVI and St. Kitts 1 each.









Jyme Bridges crossed the finish first followed by Andre Simon, and Robert Marsh (hidden).













The Byrea Tunnel was along the route wherethe riders could get some respite from the midday sun.

A-DARE defeats Largo Height in Under - 15 encounter.

The second game in the AIW U-15 saw the clash between A-DARE and Largo Height on Saturday afternoon at the Grammar School Playing Field.

The score at full time was A-DARE - 1 Largo Height - 0.
