Sports covered on the weekend

On Saturday at the Arnos Vale main playing Field there was a T20 cricket match between the visiting New York Masters and the Police Masters.

I got to the field in time to witness the end of the Police Masters innings and shot the opening overs of the New York Masters innings.

Police batsman hooks and misses a short ball
Then it was the turn of the New York masters to bat.

The Police Masters won by virtue of losing less wickets.

On Sunday I was at Arnos Vale this time on the second playing field where a football match was played in the Hairoun / Comsport Football Tournament. The teams were Tony's Store vs Strike Force.

The game was fast paced and presented some good action photos.

However, by 5:45pm without any stadium lights at this time of year it becomes too dark to shoot so I packed up and left with the score at one goal each during the second half.
